" Life Long Faith Formation is always needed and must be a priority in the Church's catechetical ministry; moreover, it must be considered the chief form of catechesis. All the other forms, which are indeed always necessary, are in some way oriented to it." John Paul II.
"Catechesis is a responsibility of the entire Christian community. This should not be the work of catechists and priests alone, but of the whole community of the faithful." GDC 220
The ministry of Life Long Faith Formation serves the catechetical needs of the whole parish through Generations of Faith, the Rite of Christian Initiation and sacramental preparation. Age specific ministries include adult education programs, youth and children's programs, Children's Church, and Nursery. Faith formation is indeed life long. It is family oriented, Bible based, and tradition honoring. We see, we learn and we take part in the Living Tradition of the Church through our appropriation of faith in our lives, in our time and in our family settings.
