"Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the "sacraments of Christian initiation," whose unity must be safeguarded. It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace." For "by the sacrament of Confirmation, (the baptized) are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed."

Youth: Confirmation is a two year process. Candidates must be in high school and attending a religious education program. If you would like more information on this sacrament, please contact our Coordinator of Youth Ministry through the parish office at 281-492-7500.

Adults: Practicing Catholics who missed the Sacrament of Confirmation in their youth can attend a six week refresher course during the Easter Season and join adults around the archdiocese for the sacrament on Pentecost Sunday. Please call Chris in the Faith Formation office for more information.
