All parish life is centered around our weekly celebration of the Eucharist. It takes many generous people who offer their gift of time to make sure our masses run smoothly. Here are just some of the ways parishioners serve each weekend during the liturgy:
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion offer the Body and Blood of Christ to the faithful who are gathered.
Readers also called Lectors proclaim the Word of God.
Altar Servers assist the priest at Eucharist. Children can serve after their 1st Communion.
Ushers help seat and greet the community during masses.
Sacristans work behind the scenes, setting out all of the vessels and books necessary for Eucharist.
!!!Mark your calendars for EMHC Training!!!
All those who signed up/are interested in being a Eucharistic Minister, Lector/Reader, Altar Server, Usher, Greeter, or Sacristan, please attend training on either Thursday, July 7th at 7 pm or Thursday, August 11th at 7 pm in the church. Training is mandatory in order to volunteer.
Any questions? Please call the parish office.
